This privacy policy describes how PicPack ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information.

Information We Collect

PicPack is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with us or third parties.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device:

• Trip Information: Trip names, destinations, dates, and colors you create
• Item Data: Item names and photos you add to your trips
• Storage Items (Pro): Permanently saved items for reuse across trips
• Templates (Pro): Custom trip templates you create
• App Preferences: Theme settings (light/dark mode) and other app configurations

How We Use Your Information

All data is stored locally on your device and is used solely to:

• Display your trips, items, and packing lists
• Save your preferences and app settings
• Provide Pro features if you purchase them

We do NOT:

• Collect any personal information
• Transmit your data to our servers or any third-party servers
• Track your usage or behavior
• Use analytics or advertising services
• Require you to create an account
• Access your data in any way

Android Auto Backup

PicPack uses Android's Auto Backup feature to back up app data to your personal Google Drive account. This backup includes:

• Trip and item data (database)
• App preferences

Important Notes:

• Backups are stored in your personal Google Drive, not on our servers
• We have no access to your backup data
• Photos may not be included in Auto Backup due to size limitations
• You can disable Auto Backup in Android system settings if desired
• Data is automatically restored when you reinstall the app on the same device or a new device

Photo Storage

Photos you add to items are stored in the app's private storage directory on your device. These photos:

• Are NOT added to your device's photo gallery
• Are NOT accessible to other apps
• Are deleted when you uninstall the app

In-App Purchases

If you purchase the Pro version of PicPack:

• Your purchase is processed by Google Play Store
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Google Play may collect purchase data according to their privacy policy

Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California). Because PicPack operates entirely offline and does not collect or transmit your data to us:

• Right to Access/Portability: All your data is already on your device. You can access it directly within the app.
• Right to Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by deleting individual trips, clearing app data in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.
• Right to Rectification: You can edit any information you've entered directly within the app.

Since we do not store your data on our servers, we are unable to fulfill requests to provide, move, or delete your data on your behalf—you are in full control.
